Accidentally on Purpose was an American television situation comedy series, which premiered on CBS on September 21, 2009. The series starred Jenna Elfman and was based on the book by Mary F. Pols. On November 3, 2009, CBS ordered an additional five episodes of the series, bringing the total to 18 episodes for the first and only season. On May 18, 2010 CBS officially canceled the show.
